disana of Germany

This practical, yet chic, men's jacket in boiled organic merino wool is another newcomer from disana!

We have limited quantities of this product, as disana tests the response of their customers.

This soft, GOTS-certified woolen jacket carries with it the great properties of wool - breathable, and temperature-regulating, absorbs moisture without feeling damp - and once it does feel damp, it still feels warm.   And as the wool dries, it cleans itself!  A perfect textile for those on the go!

Designed with feedback from outdoor enthusiasts, it has the following details -

  • The body and arms are pre-shaped to move with your body for extra comfort.
  • "High-cut" on the sleeves (allowing you to reach out without feeling taut and held back),
  • Gently elasticized wrist area to keep out the wind and cold, without feeling too tight.
  • Intentionally-shaped, roomy hood to fit comfortably around your face and protect from the elements,
  • Front zipper reaches high to fully cover neck, but is enclosed in a woolen flap, to prevent any irritation against your skin.
  • 2 roomy side pockets with zip-closure.
  • Zip-closure breast pocket keeps your wallet or mobile phone securely in place.
  • Torso portion is lined with a soft woolen textile for an extra layer of warmth.

 Care of your Disana woolens

  • Wool's self-cleansing properties minimize need for washing - simply let the article air-out between wearing, particularly when damp with rain or snow.  Once the wool is dry, it will be,once again, clean and fresh.
  • When necessary, hand washing is always best for organic wool, in cool to lukewarm water.
  •  Specially formulated wool-wash helps maintain wool's unique properties.
  •  Dry lying flat or over drying rack, out of direct sunlight (which can discolor natural wool).
  •  Do not use bleach.
  •  Do not tumble dry.
  •  Iron on low setting, if necessary.
  •  Do not dry clean.
