What is OEKO-TEX Certification?

OEKO-TEX®-STANDARD 100

OEKO-TEX-STANDARD 100 is a label for textiles tested for harmful substances.  

It sets the benchmark for textile safety, using globally standardized test criteria.  The certification guarantees that the product has passed safety tests for the presence of harmful substances.

This certification guarantees that the certified article has been tested against a list of over 1,000 harmful substances and is harmless to human health.

Products conforming to the strictest of these standards are deemed safe for use in baby products.  

Whereas GOTS-Certification test for harmful substances every step along the way, from the fields where the sheep graze to the finished product, OEKO-TEX tests the final textile/product.
