Disana's half-zip sweater is their reinterpreted version of the classic sailor's sweater.   It is made of lightweight boiled wool fibers, 260 gm/sq meter vs disana's heavier boiled wool jackets at 420 gm/sq m.   This makes it a versatile garment that can be worn all year - either as an under-layer during winter months, or as an outer-layer during warmer seasons.

Wide cuffs on the arms helps protect from cool Spring breezes.  A lining on the collar guarantees scratch-free fund when playing and romping around.  A pocket of fabric at the top of the zipper protects the neck when the zipper is closed.  

Wool's breathability and temperature-regulating properties give protective warmth, keeping your child comfortable during Spring's fluctuating temps or cooler summer evenings.   The cheerful Springtime pastels help give that burst of energy we're all looking for when Spring finally turns the corner.

Care of your Disana woolens

•  Hand washing is always best for organic wool, in cool to lukewarm water. 
•  Specially formulated wool-wash helps maintain wool's unique properties.  
•  Wool's self-cleansing properties minimize need for washing - simply let the article air-out between wearing, particularly when damp with rain or snow. 
•  Washing before first use is not necessary with GOTS-certified wool. 
•  After washing, roll in terry cloth towel to press out excess water.
•  Help garment regain its shape and elasticity by pulling into shape, if necessary.
•  Dry lying flat or over drying rack, out of direct sunlight (which can discolor natural wool).
•  Do not use bleach.
•  Do not tumble dry.
•  Iron on low setting, if necessary.
