Disana's "Wind-and-Weather Outdoor Jacket" is made from cozy, warm organic merino wool.  The boiled wool outer layer helps insulate against wind and weather; the inner jersey wool lining gives an extra layer of warmth.

Attention to detail makes this jacket extra special.   The body & sleeves are pre-shaped for ease of movement.  A drawstring sewn within the perimeter of the hood allows it to be pulled snugly around your child's face, as needed.   Reflectors on the sleeves, back and front of the jacket help provide visibility in the dark.   The knitted waistband and cuffs, also of merino wool, give a snug fit, to keep the warmed air inside the jacket.   The pockets have zippers to ensure that nothing gets lost.   And the font zipper has a protective flap at the neckline, to avoid irritation.

Care of your Disana woolens

•  Hand washing is always best for organic wool, in cool to lukewarm water. 
•  Specially formulated wool-wash helps maintain wool's unique properties.  
•  Wool's self-cleansing properties minimize need for washing - simply let the article air-out between wearing, particularly when damp with rain or snow. 
•  Washing before first use is not necessary with GOTS-certified wool. 
•  After washing, roll in terry cloth towel to press out excess water.
•  Help garment regain its shape and elasticity by pulling into shape, if necessary.
•  Dry lying flat or over drying rack, out of direct sunlight (which can discolor natural wool).
•  Do not use bleach.
•  Do not tumble dry.
•  Iron on low setting, if necessary.
•  Do not dry clean.
