We have a shipment on its way with more hats! We're hoping to receive them shortly after Thanksgiving.
Disana called this their "never-cold-ears-again" hat! This Disana boiled wool hat has a particularly low cut to protectively cover ears and cheeks. Side ties keep the hat comfortably in place. Designed to fit snugly on your child's head.
The outer shell is make completely of wind and weather-proof boiled wool, from fine, soft, GOTS-certified merino wool. The lining is made of particulartly soft organic cotton. Soft woolen ties make sure the hat stays in place, even when romping and playing in the snow.
Wool weight 420 gm/ square meter.
Sizing - in approximate age and head circumference.
- Size 2 - 1-3 yr - Head circumference 46-50 cm/18-20 in
- Size 3 - 3-6 yr - Head circumference 50-54 cm; 19.5-21.5 in

Care of your Disana woolens
- Hand washing is always best for organic wool, in cool to lukewarm water.
- Specially formulated wool-wash helps maintain wool's unique properties.
- Wool's self-cleansing properties prolong need for washing - simply let it air out between wearing.
- Washing before first use is not necessary with GOTS-certified wool.
- After washing, roll in terry cloth towel to press out excess water.
- Help garment regain its shape and elasticity by pulling into shape, if necessary.
- Dry lying flat or over drying rack, out of direct sunlight (which can discolor natural wool).
- Do not use bleach.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Do not dry clean.
