Danish Woolen Delight shares in its philosphy with LANACare,  to promote health and well-being among those who use and wear the products.

Danish Woolen Delight was started by an American-born nurse-midwife/lactation consultant living and working in Sweden during the 90’s. Janice became familiar with LANACare organic wool products, made by a Danish nurse.  Impressed with the woolen nursing pads & the growing line of LANACare products, which provided so many benefits for nursing mothers & babies, she decided to start importing the product line, when her family relocated back to the United States.

To complement and build upon the LANACare success, and to satisfy customer requests for high quality organic woolen long underwear for the entire family, DWD added Swiss-made Hocosa underwear products of Demeter wool and wool silk blend.

The Vermont based company is still run by Janice and her husband, Morgan.
