I discovered LANACare products as a new mom and midwife, living and working in Sweden during the early 90s. At that time, the nursing pads were the only available item. They were “delightful”! Superior in every way to any other nursing pad I’d seen. The wool, with its natural lanolin content, provides so many benefits! I recommended them warmly to the mothers I worked with. LANACare products were developed by a Danish nurse. Careful thought is put into each item sold, to assure that they carry with them health benefits, as well as provide the soothing warmth that only pure wool can give.
At the time my children were born, LANACare products were new and unknown to many women in Sweden. Over the years, I watched as they grew in popularity. Within 7 years, the nursing pads went from virtually nothing to the #1 rated brand in all of Scandinavia! I’ve also seen how LANACare products have improved in quality and softness, and as new products have been developed and added to the collection.
It felt natural for me, when I moved back to the U.S. with my family, to bring LANACare products with me and to continue recommending them to the mothers I meet!
